Integrating Google Gemini in Flutter Apps : Learning Odyssey
In this illuminating session, our team members were introduced to Google Gemini, an advanced family of large language models (LLMs) developed by Google DeepMind. Succeeding LaMDA and PaLM 2, Gemini stands out as a multimodal powerhouse capable of understanding and processing diverse information types, including text, code, audio, images, and video.
The session drew comparisons with GPT-4, positioning Google Gemini as a competitor with potentially superior performance in specific areas.
Google AI Studio, introduced as the gateway to Gemini power, was explored as a platform enabling developers and researchers to train, fine-tune, and experiment with Gemini models for specific tasks. The platform promotes collaboration on AI projects, making powerful AI models more accessible to a wider audience.
Additionally, the session unveiled Bard, a significant component of Google AI Studio and the Gemini Pro model. Bard, a large language model, exhibits capabilities such as answering open-ended questions, generating creative text formats like poems and code, and following instructions to complete various requests. Despite being in development, Bard continues to learn and improve, promising exciting possibilities in the realm of AI companionship.
